Open school is one of the largest six schools of the BOU with respect to the number of student enrolments. Any person has the chance to admitted irrespective of age, gender, and profession in any program of the school. At present, BOU is offering Secondary School Certificate Program.

If you interested to continue your study, then you can apply. Only Friday the class will be organized in their certified schools. There are only classes on Friday every week. Eligibility For Bangladesh Open University (BOU) SSC Admission

Applicants must pass JSC/JDC/Equivalent exam / Candidates must pass JSC/class 8/equivalent examination from any educational institution recognized by the government. The applicant’s birth date cannot exceed 31/12/2000. 

1. Must pass JSC/JDC/Class VII/Government recognized equivalent examination.
2. In the case of an applicant who passed class eight and bore after December 31, 1997, they will not be eligible for admission.
3. General line students are also eligible and could apply for this admission.

How to Apply for Bangladesh Open University (BOU) SSC Admission by Online

A student enrolled in an open university can easily get admission online. For this, he can access this website and apply online with the correct information about his details. Go to the http://osaps.bou.edu.bd website. Fill the application with legal information. Then you have to submit the Application Fee by bKash/Rocket /Sure cash. If everything is ok, then you will receive a Transaction ID in your given mobile number. You will get an SMS payment successful in your given mobile or e-mail. Then print the application using the User ID and Password. Within seven days, your Admission will be done if you submit Including educational qualification certificates, photographs and application forms to your registered study Centre.

On the other hand, If you want to admit yourself offline then it won’t be possible for you. Before though they admitted students through BOU Regional Center / Sub-Regional Center / Study Center in the last year. But this year they strictly announce that no application will not accept offline. Everyone must have to Apply Online.

Documentation Required for BOU SSC Admission

1. Two (2) copies of the recently captured passport-size colour photos. Keep in mind, take one colour photo scan, copy during the capturing photo in the studio. It will help you in the time of online application.
2. Scan copy of JSC/Equivalent certificates.
3. Birth Certificate scan, copy.
4. Scanned soft copy of the signature.

Bangladesh Open University (BOU) SSC Admission Fee

Total Admission Fee 4,695 (minimum). Practical Course (without ICT) Additional 200 BDT must be submitted.
